Journey

Journey is based on the remarkable true story of 17-year-old Tomas living on the Canary Islands who decides, in 1946, to escape Franco’s fascist Spain by stealing a ten-meter sailboat and setting sail for North America. The story follows his extraordinary adventure on the seas, his struggle for survival, and the life and love he finally finds in Canada.
